Sometimes we are our own stumbling block because we fail to see beyond the present pain of our circumstances to the positive side of what it could lead us to and the person it could make us become.
Sometimes life is really hard, I am not denying that in the least. I have had my own fair share of difficulties and disappointments. I have found that if I allow my thoughts to revolve around all the negative issues in life, they just get bigger and more overwhelming...just what the devil wants to happen. However when I allow God to be the center of my life and thoughts, it is amazing what happens! Instead of telling God, myself and others how big my problems are, I begin to tell my problems how BIG MY GOD IS!! God cannot lie and He cannot fail. He still specializes in miracles.
I challenge you to try focusing on God's love for you and His powerful promises instead of all the "junk" in this world. Ask God to be in charge at the center of your life. I would love to hear what happens...your story might just help someone else that may read it too!
